These terms are an agreement between you and [legal entity name] ("we") for Tara, an AI Vedic astrologer you reach by text message. By texting us you agree to them.

1. Who can use it

Tara is for people 18 and over. You use Tara only for yourself, and for family members you have permission to ask about.

2. What it is, and what it is not

  • It is an AI. Replies are written by AI models from third-party AI service providers, from a chart computed by our software. No human astrologer writes your replies.
  • It is for reflection and entertainment. Astrology is a tradition of interpretation, not a science, and the AI can be wrong. Make your own decisions.
  • It is not professional advice. Nothing it says is medical, legal, immigration, financial or psychological advice. For those decisions, talk to a qualified professional.
  • It is not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. If a message suggests someone is at risk, we stop the astrology, share helplines, and a person may review the conversation. See tara.sidbid.net/crisis.
  • It never predicts death or lifespan, illness or recovery, pregnancy or a baby's sex, legal outcomes, exam results or specific investments, and it never sells remedies.
  • Predictions are not promises. We log dated predictions so you can judge them. We don't guarantee any outcome.

3. Messages

  • By texting us, you agree to receive replies and the messages you choose (for example a morning note) at the number you texted from. We send at most one message a day that you didn't ask for, and none between 9 pm and 8 am your time.
  • Text STOP to stop all messages, PAUSE to pause, LESS for fewer, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Free and paid plans

  • Free: your chart, the morning note, 3 questions a week (reset Monday), follow-ups, memory and your prediction ledger.
  • Tara+: $9.99 a month, or $59.99 a year with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. Question packs: $4.99 for 10, which don't expire.
  • Paid plans may not be open yet. Until they are, nothing is charged, and the terms in this section apply to them once they open.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your billing link (ask for it by text); you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. If you cancel during a trial, you are not charged.
  • Refunds: [policy, e.g. pro-rated refunds on request within 14 days; statutory rights in the UK/EU are not affected].
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by text. Changes never apply to a period you already paid for.

5. Your content and family data

You own what you send. You let us use it to run the service as described in our privacy policy (tara.sidbid.net/privacy). When you add a family member, you confirm you have their permission or are their guardian.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Tara to harass anyone, to look up people without their permission, to make decisions about other people's employment, housing, credit or marriage eligibility, or to try to make it produce harmful content. Don't attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

7. Ending

You can stop any time (STOP), and erase everything (DELETE). We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where we can.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on a reading, or for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for consumers in the UK and EU.

9. Changes and law

We will text you before material changes apply. These terms are governed by the laws of [state/country], except where your local consumer law gives you rights that cannot be waived.
